wiww (a.k.a. “this is my confession…”)

Posted by & filed under What I Wore.

You know, if Usher were a white twenty-something housewife in the suburbs… it’s about the same thing!

pants: target / shirt: gap / necklace: target / shoes: H&M

My comfy outfit! Gap just started selling these new t’s and they’re loose where they should be and fitting where you’d want. Well done, Gap!

The trouser jeans are great too but definitely needed to be hemmed since I’m shorter than the average Target guest, evidently. Also, when I pre-washed them (before hemming) I didn’t bother with soap (they were brand new!), but that was a bad idea because wet + hot in the dryer made my whole house smell like a Cambodian sweat shop (where they were made) and I felt guilty in my bargain jeans because I got a whiff of what it must smell like to make jeans for Target. Bum.

The necklace I purchased as a gift for a friend, then in a weak moment wore myself. Going to have to buy another necklace…

And I put the shoes on for the photo. I don’t wear shoes around my house – that always makes me feel crazy! Definitely a barefoot girl.

What I Wore Wednesday usually ends up turning into a confessional, eh?

shoot, I wish I could remember! They’re doing a big thing about “the t-shirt” right now, and it’s really the only one with the 3/4 sleeves and flowy-ish body. Sorry I don’t know!

Is that a sock bun I spy? I’ve been rocking one myself a lot lately. (And I noticed the Gap windows in Chi-town yesterday all plastered with “BUY OUR NEW TEES” and was intrigued. Glad to know they’re doing it right.)

I really like the necklace and agree with Keight: You owe ME another one. We’re willing to split custody.

Okay, so what’s the name of the jeans?? They also look like they’re fitted where you want and flowy where you want. :)

I sure hope you feel better soon, girl!!!

I am running, just not the long distance…… Hope to do more running in the near future.

Ok, one more question on the clothes. (seriously you put together the best outfits! ) Where did you get the navy/red chevron tank? I saw it in one of your Disney pics, I think?

        Blessings!

impressed that you’re running! I totally need to get out there!

the navy/red chevron tank is actually a dress :) I got it at a shop in Boston called “344” for under $30, I think. (their website is absolutely useless or I’d link it) Glad you liked it – sorry I couldn’t help :/

          Best, girl!

Crack me up! I WISH I could be the Raechel you have in your mind :) I’m 5’4″ and some change. Funny, other bloggy-turned-IRL friends have said the same thing – that I’m shorter than they expected.

      Love you too :)
