What Liz Wore Wednesday

Posted by & filed under What I Wore.

You know, because it’s fun to change things up a bit!

Actually, my Lizzie stopped by this morning to raid my closet for shoes and dresses for upcoming year-end senior festivities and I bamboozled her into posing for a WIWW picture.

She’s such a good sport!

Of course, after she got dressed she looked at herself in the mirror and exclaimed, “I look like you!”

Yeah, just like me. Except eighteen and youthful and absolutely lovely!

Actually, this isn’t even a super creative rundown. It’s head to toe all from one store (though different visits) and current season. Not a lot of critical thinking went into this one. BUT, the hair tie on the wrist – that was an extra special touch :)
Oh, and the necklace is from Target. $9.99 and my current go-to.

Take-away from this week’s WIWW:
1. go bold with your pants
2. stripes are the new neutral
3. flats class up an outfit the way flip flops never could (and I totally consider the navy/tan combo a neutral)

Happy Wednesday, friends! Go put on some red pants and don’t be afraid to wear them out!

**Important addition: a number of you commented on last week’s WIWW post that you loved the navy polka dot dress from Target but couldn’t find it in your store. WELL, Miss Keight found a size medium in her Target, brought it home, and changed her mind but wanted to make it available to y’all if anyone wants it before she returns it. She paid $24.99 plus tax and she is generously offering free shipping. If you’re interested, email her. That’s all!

I was wondering, I remember back in the fall (I think) you were posting about decorating Audrey’s room and had said you were going to share and post pictures. Did you ever do that? Did I miss it? I don’t remember seeing it.

Agh! I still haven’t done that and she’s moving out in like a week and a half! We never finished all that we had planned with the room just because the school year got busy, so I kept waiting to post about it until it was finished. I should just go take a picture and post it this week, eh?

Hmm, I believe this was mid awkward laugh transition into fake sideways laugh. And I’m going to show up in that exact outfit someday. Raechel clone! Love you

Did I tell you I got to switch them for the next size up? They’re 7s now. And yes, amazingly, she fit into them! She’s used to foot pain though because she’s an almost famous dancer!
