twenty-twelve in review

Some highlights:

Lots of trips between Boston and Nashville early in the year, and an almost-move to New England.

Me wrapping up my time with Nourish Organics and Ryan beginning a new job (which he adores) in Nashville.

A new puppy in the family.

Hazel’s birthday, her party, and her being two.

The time Oliver was dissatisfied with the city carnival, so he threw his own backyard carnival.

Oliver’s last day of the preschool we adored so much.

My cousin’s wedding where I got to be the second shooter.

Trips to Michigan to swim and visit Granddad and Groovy.

Visiting my bosom friend Christine and meeting her newest bundle of awesome.

Writing the Sewing 101 series throughout the month of April.

Taking Oliver to Disney World with my sister and Beatrice, including the big surprise moment caught on video.

Committing to read my Bible daily, then God using that desire to minister to thousands (and to me!).

Turning thirty.

A trip to Indianapolis for the Influence Conference – my internet friends becoming IRL friends.

Hazel’s pretty teefers.

Me developing a nerdy yet loving relationship with animated .gif’s. (here, here, here)

Oliver’s first day of school.

A September visit from the Dukes‘.

A new love, love, love for my mail-order stylist!

Oliver’s first soccer game.

Oliver turning six.

Stenciling and transforming Hazel’s big girl room and doing a photoshoot with the Land of Nod team for their catalogue.

Trick-or-Treating with Hello Kitty and Boba Fett.

Advent with my dear ones during the month of December.

    I LOVE this one. Makes it look like y’all had a lot of summer, which I suppose you did. And I can’t believe you did so much! Are you worn out just reflecting? You really became an honest-to-goodness grownup (in my eyes) this year. Obviously before you were just pretending.

    i LOVE when you do these. and oh man bronzed hazel is rocking my world. i also forget how great of a photographer you are until i see all these geodes glittering in succession. scuddles to m’boo!
