This is our last full week of life-before-school and you better believe we are cramming it in!
Today we spent hours at the playground, grabbed Sonic slushes at lunch time, played UNO over and over while Hazel napped, hit the pool for a good long time (and made faces with Hazel underwater), then we made dinner together (calzones!), ate quickly, cleaned up, went for a long walk, then bed. (Then Mommy and Daddy did their runs. Yick.)
So yes, we’re cramming in the quality time like we’ve got nothing to lose.
Because before long, Summer 2012 will be nothing but a memory!
And oh, what lovely memories they will be!

Good for you friend! That sounds like so much fun. As a kid of a mom and made memories like this, they are something I cherish and will never forget! I’m sure that one day they will both look back and thank you for these days!
