sick day

Posted by & filed under Uncategorized.

today, I’m sick.

Actually, I’ve been sick since Thursday – coming up on my fourth evening and night of awful fever and coughing to match. Entertaining temps in the 103s and higher that scoff in the face of antipyretics. Just miserable.

So today, I’m taking a sick day. Ryan is doing a great job taking care of the kids and I am sleeping nearly around the clock – you know, between coughing up my lungs and catching my breath.

Sounds dramatic, I know. What’s life without a little drama?

Hoping to hit the Dr. first thing in the morning. In the meantime, enjoy a less-than-usual view of my favorite mug from this week.

Please pray that I’ll feel better, friends!

Bummer! I felt like you describe back in Jan. I seriously thought I was going to bite the dust.. That FEVER!! I was urged to go in, and the (most horrific, awful) nasal swab was positive for influenza.
    Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Whatever bug’s got you down, rest, drink, and hope you feel better soon!!!

Hope you feel better soon. After just getting back from vacation too :( My hubby caught the flu when we went to disney last year. He started feeling bad on the drive home and was in bed for a week. Thankfully none of the rest of us got it. Get some meds and feel better soon!

oh no! You’re still sick?!? I had the flu back in March and it was terrible. High fever, cough, aches, chills, etc. I was so weak I couldn’t hold Eliza. It was terrible.

    Praying for your health, friend!
