I have been trying to teach myself how to sew for about 1-2 years roughly. I tend to break my machine more then I get to sew with it. I would love to win because these fabric would be awesome to make a lap quit for my mom – awesome colors!

I’ve been sewing for 20 years??? AM I REALLY THAT OLD? And I just purchased a sewing machine after years of not having one. YOU inspired me! I can’t wait to get started!!! And probably going to have to go with intermediate level.

I am a VERY novice sewer–my mother taught me how to make some shorts and shirts when I was about 8 years old, and I haven’t sewed since, but I am expecting a sewing machine for Christmas!

I haven’t been sewing very long and would still consider myself a beginner. Only about a year, and I have an old sewing machine that makes it difficult. But for my birthday/Christmas I’m getting a new brother machine so I’m totally excited about thatt!

I’ve been sewing since I was a little girl….I guess about 18 years. Sadly, it’s been off and on, not consistent enough to call myself and expert but I’m definitely intermediate.

I would definitely say I’m a beginner but I’m dying to learn more. I can make basic blankets and bibs but that’s about it so far. That orange and green bundle is just gorgeous though! Maybe it’ll inspire me to make something more difficult ;)

I’ve been sewing since I was like 10, but I hated it back then because my mom was making me learn! I started sewing for FUN about 5 or 6 years ago. :) I’m probably intermediate, but I’m working on it. :)

I guess I’d call myself intermediate….I do quilts and that’s about it…clothing scares me! I’ve been sewing actively for about 3 years now, but did sew occasionally before that, it was just really random.

I’m definitely a beginner. I don’t even have a real sewing machine (though I am getting one for Christmas). Hopefully I won’t sew my fingers to the fabric. That would be bad. :o)

I’ve been sewing for years, probably close to 20. I’ like to say I’m an awesome-possum just because it sounds neat, but really, I’m just intermediate.

I got one of those plastic kid sewing machines when I was 5. I guess when I really started sewing was in grade 7, home ec class and have never stopped! I don’t feel like an expert so I’ll go with intermediate!

I am a beginner to intermediate. I have been sewing for probably 10 years (yes….but still in the beginner stages!) I actually inherited a 1970’s singer sewing machine from my husbands grandmother when she past away a few years ago- still works great! Looking forward to starting on some projects in the next couple of days!

I’ve been sewing since I was 8 (I’m now 26 so 18 years!) and my grandma taught me how to thread and use her sewing maching. Today, I have my own sewing maching (that my grandma bought me…LOVE her!) and I’d say I’m an intermediate. I enjoy it so much though that I think I’d continue to sew even if I was the worst at it in the world!

I love Terrain – I think it’s one of Kate Spain’s best (so far!)

I have technically been sewing since Junior high, but it was very sporadic. Now I sew at least 2 or 3 times a month. I think I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate.

B.E.G.I.N.E.R.!!! Sadly though, I’ve been sewing for a good 10 years. What can I say? I’m just not a natural!

Um…I’m not really a sewer :( But, I love all kinds of crafty things and I could put this fabric to use in other ways, I am sure!

my mom taught me to sew when I was 10…I didn’t sew much through my teens but after I got married in my early 20s I started sewing for my home and then for my kids… I’d say I’m an intermediate sewer and have been sewing approx 10 yrs.

I have been sewing about 5 years…would say beginning/intermediate. I surprised myself by recovering a carseat a couple years ago and making a cape the other day from my little girl.

I have been sewing off and on since Elementary school. I have never really made it past beginner stage, because I put too much time between my sewing spurts. My best skill was making bags, and hedgehog sleeping bags.

I’ve been sewing on and off for most of my adult life so maybe 15 years? I would say I’m intermediate. I’m no good when it comes to clothes that need to fit….

I learned at a young age so I’m gonna go with 20 years. I’d say I’m intermediate level but I’m not scared of a skilled pattern :) but I’m with the other girl who said that even if I made horrible things I’d still do it.

I’ve only been sewing for about a year and tend to consider myself a beginner, but I just got a serger for my birthday and am actually learning to use it, so I guess that makes me intermediate, eh? :D

Been sewing, oh, 40+ yrs. Started when I was maybe 8 sewing doll clothes by hand in the van when travelling. Sewed my first dress on mom’s machine to wear at 9 or 10. Sure did like that red & white striped dress.
I think I used to be better. My bifocals give me fits with threading needles or fine handsewing. I’ve been sewing here more lately though.

I am a beginner for sure. I hand sewed a dress at age 13 for a baby, and have made a doll and blanket. I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas I want to make cloth pads and try some cloth diapers. so free fabric would be awesome!

I’m in between intermediate and expert. I could do fancier things, but I’m lazy and don’t like doing things that require a lot of precision, such as sleeves and zippers.

My mom put me in sewing classes when I was younger and I took the classes for about 10 years. Then I think I stopped around the time I got into middle school, but I’m just now getting back into sewing and love it!

Hi there. I’ve been sewing for over 40 years and consider myself an intermediate sewer – great at some things, could be better at other things. “Awesome possum” sounds good to me though. Mind if I start using that description?

If being able to sew a button back on and sew an ugly stitch counts for anything, I’d say I’m a beginner. And I haven’t been sewing anything recently :( but I’d love to change that!

I guess I’m sort of intermediate– certainly not an expert, even thought I’ve been sewing on and off for 38 years! Wow! Can’t believe it’s been that long, but the numbers don’t lie! :-) Thank you for this giveaway!! I love the Terrain line! :-)
