A good lot of things

Alternately titled: “More hyperlinks than a…”

Yes, I know. The joke needs a punchline. We’ll be coming back to that shortly.
First, the winner of the gorgeous little lamb hat from Sweet Pea Toad Tots is…

Congrats, Hilary!

Second, since you all got to share what we’re most excited to give this Christmas when you entered my last giveaway post, I want to tell mine! This year, I’m really looking forward to giving Oliver The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones. The pictures are great and even more, the way it is written is just right to meet Oliver (and us! reading the Bible to him always ends up speaking to us even more!) where he is.

About the Bible:
“Written for children ages four and up, The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the one story underneath all the stories of the Bible and points to the birth of a child, the Rescuer, Jesus. Complete with 44 Bible stories, The Jesus Storybook Bible paints a beautiful portrait of Jesus and invites children to see that he is not only at the center of God’s great story of redemption—he is at the center of their story too.”

AND! And, and AND! I get to give one away! Sally Lloyd-Jones and Zondervan are graciously giving the Deluxe edition – which includes the narrative on three CDs) away to one of you! (This post may be long, but it’s turning out to have some good stuff in it, eh?)Details on how to enter the giveaway forthcoming.

Third: Remember Seeds? Their newest album “Seeds of Character” is now available for pre-order! When you pre-order now you’ll receive a download card for 6 songs from the new album now and the full album in April. Orders placed by December 15 will have free shipping and arrive by Christmas. Also, you can use the code “RAECHELSEEDS” at checkout for 10% off.
Another great, uplifting gift or stocking stuffer. You can pre-order here. And, as always, each package contains two identical CDs – one to keep and one to give to a friend.
You can listen to one of the new songs here:

Fourth: Helveticards.
Designed by my one true love, the most stylish deck of playing cards you will ever deal.
Currently carried by the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) store and as of January 2011, CB2 (a subsidiary of Crate & Barrel).
I’m just so impressed and proud of him that I had to tell you all about them!
You can buy them here for $10/deck (U.S. orders only). The last date to purchase for Christmas delivery is Monday, the 12th.
Also, $1 of every deck sold will be donated to the charity:water campaign.
They make a great stocking stuffer!

Fifth. Speaking of Christmas delivery, this Friday is the last day to order bibs or burp cloths from my Etsy shop in time for Christmas.

Sixth. The details of the “Jesus Storybook Bible” giveaway.
Remember how this post was alternately titled “More hyperlinks than a…”? Well, my brain is broken and I can’t think of a funny punch line I’m leaving it to you! Leave a comment with your idea for the end of the sentence (such as, “This post has more hyperlinks than Hazel has headbands!”) and I’ll pick a winner on Friday. Fun!
Oh, and in this case, you are allowed up to three separate entries.
So, to recap:
1. Congrats, Hilary on your Sweet Pea Toad Tots win!
2. I’m excited to give Oliver the “Jesus Storybook Bible
3. Pre-order your Seeds of Character album here.
4. Helveticards. Awesome. Buy them here.
5. Christmas cut-off for bibs and burp cloths in my shop is this Friday.
6. “This post has more hyperlinks than ________________” Entertain me!!
(If it helps, another example: “This post has more hyperlinks than Sonic has drink combinations!”)
Happy Wednesday!

    >First things first, when I saw those cards, I IMMEDIATELY thought they looked like something that belonged in the CB2 catalog. So perfect.

    Now, for the Bible giveaway:

"This post has more hyperlinks than a 100 foot chain whose mommy gave it too much Christmas candy."

(not that I would know anything about giving little ones too much Christmas candy or anything. ;-)

    >We gave each of our boys their own copy of the Jesus Storybook Bible for their 3rd birthdays and they are a big-time favorite in our house. They've fallen in love with the Bible and Jesus even more thanks to that wonderful children's version. I'm just certain your little guy will cherish his as well. And Seeds, well, we're obsessed over here. Even my husband and I have Bible verses playing in our minds all day thanks to those catchy tunes. LOVE it! Good favorite gifts list!

    >I'd really just like to finish the sentence with "…a barrel of cats." Because, in my experience, nothing is funnier (or more ferocious) than a barrel of cats.

Alternatively: Shopping with my children is like herding cats. I like to use that one too.

    What was the question?

    >This post has more hyperlinks than the amount of people commenting on this blog….yeah, its after midnight and I am very sleepy and not very creative:)

We have this book actually, I read it to my 1 year old twin boys. They are a little too young to care, but we are trying to start family worship with them. I however love the art work:)

I will be giving this to my nephew if I win.
