Hello, loves!

I’ve had so many eager inquiries about the “A Thrill of Hope” print above my mantle via Instagram and my post yesterday, I thought it might be nice to make a formal introduction (and while we’re at it – why not a giveaway and a discount!).

Y’all already know that I married into creative talent when I became Ryan’s girl over ten years ago, but what you may not know is that my sister married into quite a bit of talent herself! My brother-in-law Caleb is a teacher by day, fine artist by night (well, by day too… he teaches sculpting and such at a local college).

A few weeks ago when I asked him to paint me something beautiful using one of my favorite Christmas lyrics (I first wrote about why I love it nearly five years ago this week), I had no idea I was in for such a treat! Isn’t it lovely, y’all?

I mean, seriously.

Caleb has a shop where he sells prints of his work (he has a “falling animals” series right now) and receives commission inquiries, and because of the overwhelming response to my “A Thrill of Hope” painting, he’s recently made it available in his shop as well, in three different sizes.

And fun bonus news: I get to offer y’all a discount to his shop through the rest of the week:

FREE SHIPPING through midnight Friday (11/29) with code ‘RAECHEL’

AND, I get to give away one 12×12 print (fits perfectly in one of those square Ikea Ribba frames!). Enter below!

Happy Tuesday, friends! There is indeed a Thrill of Hope!

I just reread your original post about your favorite lyrics. Such a sweet, honest, hope filled post. Then, I read my comment. While I’ll never stop missing my sweet babies, I am reminded at how much God has blessed our family. <3

When I saw the picture over your mantel, all I could think was how I would love to have a copy of that to hang during Christmas. I miscarried our first baby girl, during the first week of December eleven years ago and we have a special ornament with her name that we hang on the tree every year. Christmas is always a very special time for our family and I tend to hug our four munchkins extra tight. This Christmas has been more emotional for us because my Grandmother passed away suddenly in July; and this will be our first Christmas without her. I’ve been so blessed to have both sets of grandparents close by my whole life and they’ve been blessed to see their great-grandchildren…20 kids so far : ) “O’ Holy Night” is one of our favorite Christmas Hymns and I am so excited…I just purchased a print! I have a feeling that it’ll stay up all year long : ) Thank you!

Hi I am so excited to get my 36×36
Print. But am wondering about frame
Options. Do you have glass on yours. ?

Hi Jane! So exciting! I actually mounted it on 42×42 1/8″ wood, then mitre cut 3 1/2″ wide casing I bought at Home Depot and built a frame with no glass. I was worried it would be too heavy since it’s so big. Probably the smartest thing to do is have it framed, and glass would definitely protect it best, but that’s how I did it! Hope this helps! xoxo
