Somebody needs a weekend.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that Hazel is a competitive sleeper.

When she’s ready to sleep, she’ll ask for a nap. And – as evidenced here – if we don’t get her in her bed quickly enough (I was busy fixing dinner and told her I’d be up in a minute to tuck her in), she gets tired of waiting.

Very tired.

I love a kid who appreciates rest. Well, rest and her favorite snuggle things.

So, here’s to the weekend!

And for fun, a few links I’ve loved this week:

The stroller we use and lurve. We paid dearly for it, but worth every penny. Just saw it here for a crazy low price.

This video. Recorded by two girls that live in our neighborhood. They’re also the daughters on the show “Nashville”.

I ordered this for Ryan for Valentine’s Day (no peeking, babe!), first seen at Anthropologie.

Our family has recently been introduced to this cool and clever cup. Can’t decide if the kids or the adults love them more.

Oliver loves a good system, so this free app has him very productive these days. (It’s been an awesome motivator for reading practice at night!)

My friend designed something for her family that ended up being so cool, she’s selling them now!

Oh, and this video is cracking us up. All in good fun, it’s sooo true.

We got a couple of these last week for Hazel and Beatrice for Valentine’s day. Also, four of these because they’re $2.49 for goodness sake and my gal doesn’t have much else going on on top of her head :)

And, can I just say that this community blesses my socks off. And if you’re looking for a good place to begin reading God’s word, you might be very happy to find your place among us!

(and yes, in case you were wondering, it was a kitty-cat day.)

Have a blessed weekend, friends!

Oh Margaret, I wish!!! The problem is that, as with most of Hazel’s babysitters, I’d rather be leaving the house *with* them, then leaving them at the house with the kiddos! My kids get to hang out with my favorite people more than I do!!

Thanks for the link to the pettiskirts! I’ve been looking for one that was reasonably priced for some photos we want to take. A friend tried to convince me to make one, but I can’t beat a pre-made one for $16! Sleepy Hazel is adorable!

Oh, she’s just breaking hearts, isn’t she?! What doll baby. (Harper does the same thing with thumb and blankie–just crashes on the floor with his butt in the air. No warning.)

I’ve seen the Shoot Christians Say video a bunch of times and I seriously laugh every time I watch it. There is a lot of humor there, yet a lot of truth! :)
