dog-shaming fun

If you’ve been on Facebook or watched the news much this week, you may have seen the clever fun folks have been having with dog-shaming.com. It’s funny and ironic and somehow makes me want to have a dog again – if just for a moment, and then be done, of course.

Generally it’s just a handwritten sign, held by the dog or the owner, with the pet looking particularly ashamed of what they’re confessing. A current fave:

My sister just posted this one on Instagram yesterday:

You have to know that this reminds me of my grand list of our weimaraner, Scout’s misdealings.

Don’t have time to follow the link and read the full list of transgressions? Here are a few to take you into the weekend:

Yes, that’s a hole in the 2nd story window. She wanted to go on a walk with Rebecca so badly that she just jumped through the screen onto the roof.

It’s a good think they opted for a covered porch.

Has your dog done anything lately that they should be ashamed of?

I LOVE that website. I’ve sat and giggled so much this week because of it!
Bess is looking super sweet, and growing so fast!

The one of Scout and the swing reminds me of my Cooper when he wrapped his lead round and round a tent at the beach!
