Jake & Katelyn’s Wedding

Posted by & filed under Friends, Our Family.

First of all, y’all are wonderful. And supportive and encouraging and sweet and friendly and just plain lovely. Thank you for all of the kind comments you left on yesterday’s post. I’m so sorry y’all thought maybe I was jumping ship – definitely not! I’m here and I’m not going anywhere. Especially not with fabulous readers like y’all! Anyway, thank you. You are such an encouragement to me. And, I like you guys too! :)

Second, I have more photos from the wedding this weekend. Oh, guys, it was so lovely. There was a 70% chance of rain all day and not a single drop fell on us. God is good and his blessings are endless.

Enjoy pictures of the bride and groom, my adorable Grandma and Grandpa, my cousin Tara’s little boy Koen, a cool nest my Aunt Sheri designed (and Grandpa executed by welding rebar!), Zac & Olivia, and a bunch of random bottles tied to the back of Jake’s car.

Have a lovely Monday, friends! This is the day that the Lord has made!

And since Amy asked in my post Saturday night, here’s the rundown of my outfit:

  • Dress – H&M, current (and since it was ivory, I knew it was going to take some accessory work to not pull a Kelly Kapoor)
  • Necklace – J.Crew last fall
  • Belt – Forever 21, current (Ry helped me pick it out)
  • Bracelet – gift from Ryan a couple years ago from Banana Republic
  • Shoes – Banana Republic, last summer (didn’t end up wearing the teal garage sale shoes, and went monotone per Keight’s suggestion when she was here for the race.)
  • White hair flower – H&M, current

Love that tie–we call them “Andy Ties” :) I wish I could pull off the belted dress look–you make it look just lovely. So happy you guys had fun. And also glad you’re back–you’re my twitter BFF and I miss you when you’re gone!
