We had a delightful time at the Franklin Christmas Parade this afternoon. Hazel enjoyed a taste of candy cane and tried to mimic our “Merry Christmas!” shouts to those parading by. Oliver high-fived majorettes, raked in the candy and cheered louder than anyone. We set up shop with our friends the Apples at their home downtown. The weather was lovely and the company was just right. I just had to capture this lovely afternoon with a few photos and a few words.

Happy Saturday night!

(Oh, and since when did Diddy change his name to Diddy Dirty-Money? Weird.)

    >Raechel – Thank you for posting pics of Franklin. I was born and grew up in Franklin and REALLY miss it. I love your blog for many reasons but I really like it when you talk about Franklin. Makes me feel closer to home.
Hope you and your family have a blessed holiday.

    >Okay, this cracks me up! I just recently posted a very similar post of our hometown parade and my little lady enjoying a candy cane too! We must be in similar stages of life in more ways than one. Looks like you guys had as much fun as we did. Nothing like a Christmas parade to get the season in full swing!
