a steward of grace

Morning, friends!

I’m linking up today with the SheReadsTruth girls to share a bit about what the Lord has been doing in my life over the last year, particularly as it pertains to my role in this ministry.

It’s crazy to think that it’s already been a whole year since the SRT community sprung up seemingly overnight, and yet, I also marvel when I look back on all that the Lord has accomplished in my life and in the lives of so many other women around the world as a result of doing something as simple as reading God’s Word daily.

With little more ado, below is my (very first, I think) vlog! I don’t know how long vlogs are supposed to be, but mine is 10 minutes and you can totally judge me. Also, enjoy a little Hazel cameo as she shows up post-nap, complete with a fantastic bedhead.

Check out all the other blogs/vlogs in the link-up here!

And, if this is the first time you’ve heard me talk about SheReadsTruth, or if you are interested in learning more about joining the community of women in its second year (we are starting a study of 1 & 2 Peter next week!), find out more here! (Or ask me questions! I am happy to help!!)

Loved listening to you share! Especially loved the last part–what you said about GRACE and how Christ is challenging you in that!

Yes being in the word daily has changes me. Yes, I still have my struggles, but finally at places where instead of getting so overly angry I can cry out to Jesus.

I am so thankful that you said YES to doing this ministry.

I LOVE YOU, Raechel Myers. Thank you for this, for going to the uncomfortable place in order to share how God is changing your heart. You articulated it all so well. I hear so much of my heart in what you are learning. Thanks for saying it out loud while others of us (ahem, yours truly) kept it a little more on the surface this time around. : / Love you, friend. Proud of you. So honored to be on this journey with you. (p.s. You are totally a writer, silly goose.)

Raechel! What a sweet, sincere vlog. It was so special to meet one of your “littles” too. I just want to thank you for role at SRT. I love your writing and I love that you take it so seriously. That you felt the weight and responsibility as co-steward of this ministry proves that. God bless you all as you move into the second year!

I really appreciate how honest you were about how hard it is to do the things that God calls us to do, yet how when we call upon Him, He provides in heaps.

Thanks for sharing!! So blessed. I’m trying to get my sisters linked up with SRT, and your vlog will serve as my commercial to them.

Thanks soooo much Raechel!! Your perseverance in writing these devotionals has paid off. Your words and thoughts on God’s Word has certainly blessed me and challenged me and very obviously many others as well:) You are a blessing and a good and faithful steward and I pray heaps and blessings on you as you continue in your work/ministry/mothering/’wifing’.

Thanks for being a friend to so many of us and making yourself so vulnerable! I will never forget the kindness you showed me in the email you sent me either:) (I’m still working on getting my blog up and going) God bless!!<3

Hi Raechel, Thanks for your vlog and for the writing and studying you do that inspires so many of us. You are a wonderful writer who always causes me to really think and sometimes zings me with a realization that I would have otherwise missed. You and SRT are a blessing to me and many others. All praise, honor, glory and thanksgiving be to God the Father, God the Savior, and God the Holy Spirit now and forever! Thanks again and praying many blessings for you and your family. Lov ya!

Thank you for your sharing in such an open and honest way. (Loved the part about sweatpants and showers.) Nehemiah was the first SRT study I participated in and I thought it was awesome. Thank you, Raechel, for being a steward in this ministry.

Hello! I really enjoyed your vlog :) I’ve loved participating in the She Reads Truth series! However, I have a dumbo question – Is there a reading plan I can look up for each series? Or is the daily reading plan revealed each day? I would like to know ahead of time what chapters to read for tomorrow, etc.
    That make sense?
Thanks for your help, and good job!

Not a dumb question at all, Diane! We do devotional studies that are 7-30 days long (depending on the amt of scripture covered) and just today we began a study of 1 Peter. If you subscribe to the YouVersion reading plan (they broadcast our plans as we go through them), you will be able to look ahead to the end of the plan. Does that help?

Following 1 Peter, we will do 7 days of 2 Peter, then a study of Women of the Bible.

I’m so happy to answer further questions if you have any!
