If you are joining Finding My Feet via the Land of Nod email or the Honest to Nod blog post today – Welcome!

Pretty crazy, huh? Having a room in your house be photographed for your favorite children’s catalogue? It’s been a thrill from the moment they contacted me and it’s been so much fun to work with their wonderful team to make this all happen. (Hazel, I know you probably think every little girl gets to share her room with the world, but it’s not true. You’re one lucky nugget.)

I have a few links that might interest you all, and definitely take a peek at my About page to get to know me better if you like!

That Time the Land of Nod Came Over – from choosing the bedding to getting an email from Land of Nod to a photo team arriving at our home and then getting a stack of advance copies of the catalogue in early December – the fun story is all here.

Giant Wall Stencils and a Happy Dance – the start to finish of that lovely graphic stenciled wall that nearly killed me.

White Wood Floors Tutorial – if it were up to me, every room in our house would be white wood floors. Here’s a photo tutorial of making that dream come true in the kids’ nursery.

Pretty Pom Pom Curtains Tutorial – how I gave her windows a little personality on the cheap.

A Bit of Handmade Christmas – I made custom bedding for the Land of Nod baby doll crib for one corner of Hazel’s room.

Okay, I think that’s all! Have a lovely Sunday y’all and come back and visit again soon!

That’s so exciting!! I had been anxiously awaiting the room tour so I’m glad it was finally ready for print! :) And it was worth the wait!

I was eating out Friday night and recognized Oliver as he went by…and then saw you, too, at the Cheesecake Factory. I’m a longtime blogreader who got the courage to attempt a half marathon because of your goal, too. My friends and husband thought I was nuts because I recognized you from the blog. I didn’t want to speak and look like some crazy blog stalker! Even weirder, I was looking at blogs later that night and recognized Hazel’s room feature in babybangs blog. It was weird to “see” you twice. Maybe next time I’ll speak, but it was still neat to run into you!

Aw, I wish you had said hey!! It’s always fun to say hi and connect with readers! Blogging can be such a one-sided conversation sometimes, it’s nice to get to see the people on the other side of the screen :)
