Hazel’s room – in progress

inprogress

I guess it’s been a while since I showed y’all the stencil project I was working on in Hazel’s room. I promised a room tour when I was finished, but, let’s be honest, finishing a room takes a loooong time. At least for me. And it’s no fun to be kept waiting.

I still need curtains and lighting and things on the walls, but we are definitely moved-in and happy and quite livable. It will be fun to show you this “in progress” view for now, then the final product once it’s all polished and officially “finished”.

I’m really pleased with how it’s coming along!

(Second time to try and comment–apologies if it does it twice.)

I think that the white floor looks super good with the pale pink walls. Also: loving the rug and the bedframe. You have obviously put a lot of thought and muscle into this redo, and it looks fabulous, friend! What a perfect place for a little bouncy girl. Love her.

Awesome job; I wish it could be my room! Yeah; I almost teared up over the growth chart and footprints parts. What excellent ideas.

Love the room, it is beautiful and I am getting ideas for my 8 year old daughter’s room. Curious about where you got the bed. I have been vacillating between upholstered and wood but love the mini 4-poster. Thanks.

Hey Andrea! The bed was given to us about a year ago – a friend of a friend was moving and didn’t plan to take their daughters’ beds with them. No idea where it’s from – sorry!

I love it! Wow! So simple. I like simple. I am trying to simplify now and my girls are 10 & 12, wish I had started them off with simpler rooms and less stuff.

And now it IS in a magazine!!! Wandered onto your blog, Raechel, after admiring the spread on Hazel’s room in Land of Nod. Fabulous…every bit of it!
