And it’s sweet.
I had “only Oliver” for 3 1/2 years, so I know what it’s like to have a boy at home at this age.
And now, I get to have “only Hazel” during the days!
I get to learn her, do things that she really wants to do, and at her pace.
And, as it turns out…
I like it.
And I like it when Oliver comes home!
And so does she.
It’s a good season. Very different – but we are, each one of us, very happy and adjusting well.
God is faithful!
My big guy goes off to full day kindergarten in a couple of weeks and I keep trying to remind myself of how sweet it will be to soak up time with my little guy (he’s 2.5) while we both miss brother :) I am thinking we will be able to have all kinds of adventures and it makes this whole transition a little less bittersweet.

I can imagine! My daughter won’t be in K until next year but she’ll be in preschool three mornings starting next month. I’m already excited for all of the fun that her little brother and I will have… it’s a different kind of fun with each child! It was just her and I for two years so it’s fun when he and I get a little time to ourselves :)
On another top – have you gotten another Stitch Fix? I loved seeing your posts… I got my first box (you probably got a referral credit from me!) and LOVED IT. I received – and kept – that cute ivory and red striped dolman tunic that you received in one of your boxes. I can’t WAIT for my next box!

Yep – just returned my third fix yesterday and ordered my fourth at the same time. I didn’t know if it would get old seeing every single fix that I get (I’m a little addicted), so I didn’t know if I should do another post so quickly. You should totally share… I have been googling Stitch Fix reviews and love seeing other bloggers sharing their goodies – it’s so interesting to see how totally unique everyone else’s fixes are. I think you and I have similar style because I had two of your items in my box (and kept one). I totally requested that green dress that you (and Keight) were sent. I LOVE it and need it for a wedding in October!
