“yet shall he live”

Posted by & filed under Evie Grace.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me, though he die,
yet shall he live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me
shall never die.”
John 11:25-26

See that beautiful little fuzzy crown of white hair? Just like her brother and sister!

“I love the Lord, because he has heard
my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
The snares of death encompassed me;
the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me;
I suffered distress and anguish.
Then I called on the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I pray, deliver my soul!”
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;
our God is merciful.
The Lord preserves the simple;
when I was brought low, he saved me.
Return, O my soul, to your rest;
for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
Precious in the sight of the Lord
is the death of his saints.
O Lord, I am your servant;
I am your servant, the son of your maidservant.
You have loosed my bonds.
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving
and call on the name of the Lord.”
Psalm 116

Praising the Lord today for the life of our daughter, Evie Grace Myers. Remembering the day we held her tiny frame in our arms. Looking to the day we will meet her – and our Savior! – face to face. Jesus, come quickly!

    I think of little Evie Grace so often and am still in awe at the impact she has had on so many lives. Her story is so precious and reminds me that life is so fragile and yet the tiniest life can make a difference in this world. She is my granddaughter and I am looking forward to meeting her in heaven in all her beauty.

    Dear Raechel – May the Lord visit the deep and quiet places of your heart where the memories of Evie Grace live, as real as where she actually lives with the Lord. I look forward to that glorious day when we shall hold those babies again! Meanwhile, whenever we visit Beau’s Place, we go visit “the little girls” so that we can remember them, too. They are precious in his sight and in our memories. Blessings – Linda

    Thinking about you! I have had 4 miscarriages and can not even image the pain of what you and your family went through with Evie. It was hard to handle only carrying my little babies for a couple months!

      Just looked back at your older posts. My birthday is April 13…the day of her memorial service. I was reading the program in the picture. BUT, April birthdays are the very best. Blessings to you Raechel!
