dancing the night away

Posted by & filed under Oliver, Uncategorized, Videos.

Last night Ryan and I took the kids with us to do some running around in Greenhills. We ate dinner outside at Pei Wei (and ran into a lovely blog reader – hi, Jenn!!), swung and missed looking for a new bed at West Elm, then walked down to Sweet CeCe’s to reward the kids for all the holding still they did (or did not do) at the furniture store.

It was a lovely night. And be best part? At the ice cream shop there was live music! And my boy (and girl!) loves to dance. And it doesn’t occur to him to be shy or embarrassed – he just really goes for it! I love him for that! I hope he never has to care what other people think about him!

So, you can imagine our delight. Ryan and I sat back in the 68-degree night air, chipping away at our bowls of frozen yogurt delight (Ry got cocoa puffs as his topping and he swears by them!), listening to great music (Richard Jordan) and watching our little loves dancing the night away.

Care to get a peek at our view last evening?

As, I sit here, browsing my Google reader & cuddling my precious sleeping 6-month-old boy…this video made me tear up a little. :) I hope your sweet boy never stops dancing so freely…

Man, that is good dancing that made we think of “So You Think You Can Dance” a little with some of the modern style moves. :) I bet it also made the singer feel good to see him getting so into it.
