$17.50

Tomorrow (Saturday) is actually the big garage sale day in our neighborhood and several surrounding neighborhoods, but my Mom & sister & I snuck out early this morning to get the Friday preview of some of the sales around my house. Also, we’ve been clearing out our closets and such all month in anticipation of hosting our very own garage sale tomorrow morning. So, just in case I don’t get to do any shopping of my own tomorrow, I thought I’d share this morning’s deals tonight!

I spent a little more than I had intended, but I picked up some big winners and actually found two key things that were specifically on my list so it was well worth it.

Care to see the rundown?

$2.50 – Gap powder pink puffer coat for Hazel – One of the things on my list. I was actually looking to buy one retail, but it’s hard to beat $2.50 for a coat in such great condition. Scratch that off the list!

$2.50 – Red Keen shoes for Hazel – same sale as the pink coat. Great shape. Maybe a little boyish but just right for hitting the farmer’s market in her “Life is Good” top and feeling very granola-y.

$0.50 – Awesome Diesel shoes for Oliver –  except that he said they were too tight, which means they’re actually for Gus and then Moses instead. Bummer for us, but fancy Diesel shoes for fifty cents makes me look like  a very generous Auntie!

$5.00 – Two new Crayola learning games – more than I’m usually willing to spend on garage sale games, but they’re in great shape and they meet Oliver exactly at his age level. He’s learning about the Color Wheel (yes, I adore the Color Wheel enough to capitalize it) and color mixing in school right now (he can totally tell you what primary colors mix to make secondary colors – be still my artsy heart!), so this game is already a hit!

This is the other one. Pretty self-explanatory.

$2.00 – Square white Ikea frame – Just like the one we have in our living room and all the ones I have in my sewing room (have I ever shown you that?). Felt like I may as well pick it up for two bucks.

And, my Tuck-and-Run find of the day?

This is actually something that Ryan has been talking about for months. At the beginning of the summer he asked me to keep my eye out for one of these and has mentioned it many Saturday mornings since. I cannot tell you how glad it makes me to find things that are very much on my list for a great price!

$5.00 – oval tilty wall mirror – for our upstairs bathroom, which we are currently in the dreaming stages of renovating. Ry has really wanted one of these (well, he kinda wanted a pair to go above the sinks in the master bathroom, but we can be thrilled with one and put it upstairs) and I was so excited to come home with it (and all the pieces!) for five bucks!

And that’s all I got! And now I have to go to bed because I have an early morning ahead of me selling off all of Hazel’s baby clothes and approximately seventeen pairs of Ryan’s pants that have been crowding our closet for far too long. Wish us luck!

Have fun selling all your stuff! Are you selling any home good stuff? YOU should totally put it on craigslist or your etsy sight first…you know, for us readers! haha Are you two done having babies? Is that why you are selling of your children’s clothing? Will O and H be selling lemonade? Good luck!

You know, I didn’t even think about letting Oliver sell lemonade! That would have been fun! We did great though – and I did end up selling some stuff to my Twitter followers partway through the day. :)
