I’m so ashamed!

Posted by & filed under Oliver, Ryan, Scout.

I swore I would never do this.
But, here I am… blogging (eek – is that really a verb??)
Anyway, here I go, writing the typical, let-me-introduce-myself post. Let’s just pretend this never happened and move on to the next, much cooler post, shall we?
But, for now:
“Let me introduce myself”

Me, 6 months pregnant with our Evie

Me with Ryan, my husband of 5 years!

Our son, Oliver… pulling the dog’s tail.

Our noble steed: Jean Louise “Scout” Finch, the 4-year-old Weimaraner,
and recipient of much of Oliver’s affections (and body slams).

This is my inaugural comment :-)I’m proud of you for opening up to so many about life, even if it’s just a story about what we did over the weekend. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ. Not necessarily that we are called to spill our guts over the internet, but we are to proclaim His graces and blessings in our own lives. Through that, He is glorified, and the Gospel is proclaimed for all the world to see. I love you and pray that you are more consistent that I ever was with this :-)

I love your blogspot. You are a wonderful writer and I love any news I can get about you, and, of course, my beautiful grandson!! I think its wonderful and you do not have to be “ashamed.” You have so much to offer!! Keep up the good work! It is a light in a sometimes dark world; don’t hide it!

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging. Trust me, it could be worse — you could be showing the world your clogging skills via YouTube. :-PSeriously though, you have such a beautiful talent for words, writing them down like silky poetry that even without the topic at hand, you are able to illicit emotion from your readers. In reading through your posts, most of which I knew from your emails, I realized just how much talent for art there was within our family.God has given you this gift of communication and blogging is a great outlet to play with that gift.Keep it up. I’ll be reading. :) And, if you didn’t catch it, since it’s your first post, I left a comment there that I hoped you would see.
